Most likely, the guys writing the compiler write *all* the compilers and
know 'C'/C++
To write the Delphi compiler in another language that they might not be 100%
in
would make for a worse compiler.
And now that the compiler is written, you don't re-write it in Delphi just
because
you can. Companies go bust doing that......
