Thanks for the excellent self introduction post!


I'm an ol'timer in the business and with Borland,... etc., Embarcadero.
Beginning with the original CP/M Turbo Pascal 1.0.  Back in the days
when we had to handle issues through the USPS ("Snail mail. ;-)  (I
think I may still even have some correspondence from that early '80's
era somewhere. <g>)


I've seen a lot of TP and Delphi employees come and go during my
association as a small (tiny <g>) customer.  And one thing I have
observed over that period is that essentially all of those employees
were intelligent and dedicated people.  Even when they had differences
with individuals in and outside the company.


While I don't expect to see your sig here on a daily, regular, basis I
do, and I hope others also do, appreciate your dropping in.  Presumably
to bring some Embarcadero management visibility to the forums as a
result of the brouhaha stirred up by Nick Hodges termination. (I'm not
even going to discuss that since the subject is a confidential matter
between Embarcadero and Nick!)  I also hope that we will see your
presence on occasion.
