He showed you exactly how he is doing it.

Obviously, when he posted is just a snippet of larger code and not meant to 
be compiled as-is.

Like I said earlier, TIdSNMP only supports SNMP v1 at this time.  Are you 
receiving v1 traps to begin with?

Please provide the actual Wireshark capture.

Then either TIdSNMP is not receiving any data at all, or it is timing out.
