Hello all,
I have serached the net up and down for an answer for my problem, but didn't find any answer.
I have an appliation, which communicates with a serial device over the intranet and an Comserver-adapter, using TApdwinsockport. The applications captures measuring data and has to send some special commands to the device to query the datas. Sometimes, the command is not send and after a timeout of 2 seconds, i resend the command, which results in a doubled sended command to the device. This does iritate the device. Sometimes i have to resend the command a third time and the buffer is also not sended. After three times i have to log an error value for that query. It seems, some buffers did not get send and if i send the next query, both the first (which was in the buffer) and the second command is then send. Do i connect all to a seriel line, all is going well.
Could someone explain me what can i do?
Settings: PC 192.168.0.2 Comserver 192.168.0.100 Port 8000 Subnet mask on both is 255.255.255.0 The comserver adapter is from a German Company called Wiesemann & Theiss (Mini Comserver 10BaseT)
Ping to the device is under 5ms. The device is always reachable. wsTelnet is set to false WsMode is wsclient. The error does not show often, but is very critical.
TIA Andreas
